SAT NAVs

Sorry in advance if this topic has been covered......... but

Are you able to update the satnav memory cards for newer versions? I have a 2012 Kuro and obviously this is out of date now especially for inner city driving with all the road modifications.

So much so when I travelled to Newcastle for the GNR I got caught with a penalty fine for going down a bus lane (unmarked) as this had recently been done so my satnav wasn't digitised for it.

Also can you change the annoying voice to someone a bit less harsh in tone lol

I have asked Nissan and they have told me I need to buy a newer satnav card which will cost £180

Surely there must be a way to update these cards?
