Hi,
My old mobile phone was an iPhone 3GS and it worked perfectly with my Nissan Juke.
However I've now upgraded to a Nexus 5 Android phone.
I can play music over Bluetooth. I can also make and receive phonecalls over Bluetooth.
But when I plug it into the car with the USB cable, I no longer get the Juke screen to show my music (albums, artists, playlists etc). Is this because the interface only works with iPhone?
Also, it won't let me go to phone settings on the Juke screen to sync my contacts. The option is always grayed out.
It got me thinking that perhaps the Juke is simply more compatible with iPhone than Android.
Any advice/help/pointers much appreciated!
Thanks

Just acquired a '61 plate 1.6 Poverty spec Visia. It's covered 19,000 and on the test drive I didn't really notice it but now I've had a bit of time to drive it by myself I feel the biting point seems a little high as is around a third of the way up. Is this normal?

Hi All
I've just bought a nice Juke N-tech last week which I'm very much enjoying so far.
I bought a nissan juke dog guard from the dealer (£115.10) and also requested they fit it (£50) as they said it involved drilling etc and I didn't want to harm my shiny new car.
Anyway, I got the dog guard put on a few days ago and I can't help but notice that there is a gap of about 2 to 3" from the top of the guard to the roof. The top of the dog guard has a thick bar which means it gets right in the way of my line of sight when looking through the rear view mirror.
I have no points of reference to see if they have fitted the guard incorrectly so was hoping someone on this forum might be able to post me a picture of a correctly fitted one. I've seen the official picture with the red Juke and the bulldog in the back, but given the angel of the Camera you can't actually see the gap between the roof and guard.
I'll post a picture of mine tomorrow so you can see what I mean.
Thanks
David

Hi all. I have a 2011 Juke CVT non turbo and I have always thought it to be normal but after having a new Micra courtesy car it has got me thinking.
Basically when I am on dual carriageways etc sitting at 70mph the revs sit pretty normally (about 2500rpm) but if I hit a hill it goes up to 4000rpm and stays there all the way up the hill. Not only is it noisy but it drinks fuel and there are quite a lot of hills where I live and trips on the dual carriageway tend to return less than 35mpg. I know how CVTs work and they can rev high when worked hard but I would've expected it to have enough torque to keep the revs a bit lower when climbing hills.
Like I say I had always put it down as a CVT norm but the Micra courtesy car I had was a 1.2 supercharged CVT and the revs did not fluctuate nearly as much on hills.
I thought it was maybe due to the combination of the lower weight and the supercharger on the Micra but maybe it is something I should have looked at? Does anyone else have similar experiences or is it just my car?
Thanks in advance.
Scott

Hi
I'm new here and said hello yesterday on the newbies bit.
I've just had a private message telling me that most of the members of this forum now use the "other" forum as this one got spammed too much.
Can I just confirm that is correct before I go inputting all my details into another site? Its the "jukeownersgroup" if you are wondering.
Thanks

Hi All.
Ain't posted in a while but thought i'd put some photos of my Juke up.
8U1 you ask - I have owned a Lexus IS200, had it supercharged, then bought another IS200 Sportcross, then another IS300 Sportcross but putting £260 a month in fuel had to stop at a point. Was very sad to see the latest Lexus go, so i've added a couple of bits which have been painted in the Lexus ISF Ultrasonic Blue colour.
So far i have added wind deflectors, 8U1 door handles and boot handle, bonnet protector, 5000K HID's and LED bulbs internally :)

Hi there,
I'm Ross from North Yorkshire, originally from Scotland. I'm picking up my Juke 1.6 DiG-T Acenta Sport tomorrow. She's from June 2011 and only has 2000 miles on her.
I've been working on my cars for the last 17 years and am now quite handy with the spanners. We have another Nissan in the family, a 2008 Note Tekna.
Looking forward to receiving help and advice, and to giving the same where I can.
