Hi all,
Browsing this forum has been very interesting over the last few weeks in helping to decide which model to go for and in what colour with what options.
So I will be picking up a new Tekna in white on the weekend. Now what I'd like to know is where we stand with regards to to inspecting the vehicle before we accept it. For example, I've read John C's woes that he had when a crease in his leather seat that was there from Day 1 turned into a split after not too long and it was a huge battle to get it repaired under waranty. So if I notice a crease in the drivers seat, am I entitled to not accept it and demand the seat is replaced? I imagime the dealer would try to fob me off by saying its only a crease and all leather is variable etc etc. (I guess the awnser to that would be that it is not actually real leather anyway and so it should be fairly consistent...). But am I within my rights to demand this? Im sure the guy doing the handover may 'give me his word' that they would repair it if it ever split, but his word wont count for anything in 6months time...
It would be good to get something in writing but I doubt they'll want to provide anything. Maybe I could email a photo and letter to at least record the fact that there was a defect at collection in case there is an issue in the future. Or shall I just say I'm not accepting it??
Same applies to the potential of hairline swirls or marks on the paintwork from some brute giving it a wash with a gritty sponge before collection...or any other defect.
So has anyone have experience of not being happy with the condition of a new car and rejecting it? I'm sure it will be fine but you never know, and as this will be my first new car so would be great to hear from someone here.

Hi can anyone recommend a detailer in southeast london / kent area that would service the Bromley / Croydon areas?
Would prefer a proper service by someone who cares rather than the dealer applied SupraGard. But am struggling to find any website I like the look of who are in my area and who dont charge even more than the dealer. Found one in Brands Hatch that looked really good but that was over £500!!
Just want the exterior and wheels done really, the engine and interior should be fine....
Can anyone on here recommend a local company that they know of or have used, or are there any detailer who can pm me? I did see someone offering their services on here but I couldnt work out how to pm them...
Picking it up on the weekend so would be looking for asap.

Hi, I have just taken delivery of a Juke with Continental 225/45/R18 95Y XL tires. We live on a dirt track so to have a spare wheel is essential, the dealer (in Spain) quoted 450 for the spare and kit. I will look for a cheaper option.
My question is does the rim have to be the same size as it is only for getting to the local garage etc and we would like to keep the storage tray.
Any suggestions on rim size.

just fitted induction cone to my 1.5dci don't know about performance gains but makes a nice induction noise on throttle lift of,going to mod original cold intake to it removed orginal air filter and cleaned out airbox

hi everyone ,my wife has recently bought a 2011 juke 1.6 acenta sport - good car and drives spot on . the only problem is when you press the clutch pedal right at the start it pops , clunks and fine the rest of the way . it went into nissan and they said it was the clutch master and replaced it but the noise is still there . you can feel it on your foot when you press the pedal and its not the switch . any info please its driving me nuts lol

alreet from sunny wigan , wife has had the car for 2 months now and loving it . car is spot on apart from an annoying pop from the clutch pedal as you just press it right at the top , it has been to nissan for a new mastercylinder but still the same . any ideas guys because its quite annoying and its quite loud , but when you work it a bit it goes :confused: . you can feel the resistance in your foot . thanks .

My juke is due to be returned to the lease company after an enjoyable three years (new company car policy) but the driver side seat has worn through to the foam and I need to replace it, has anyone any idea of the cost and availability of this item as I have little time before the return date.

Hi guys,
My wife accidentally filled up 20 quid worth of petrol into her diesel juke. she then filled up 30 quid worth of diesel on top and drove it about 10 miles home. I got a syphon kit to try and drain the diesel out however the tube only goes in about half a meter and then hits a block in the tank I can get the tube to go down into the tank in order to suck the petrol out. Has anyone tried syphoning their car before or knows of another way to drain the tank?

Please don't buy a Nissan Juke, mine is six months old, after two months corrosion started appearing on the nearside passenger door, now all four doors and tailgate have signs of active rust, please go to Honda, Volkswagen or anyone else really!
So far Nissan's only action has been to try and prove that I have had the vehicle re-sprayed so that they don't incur any costs in rectifying the problem (their own paint depth testing has proved that I haven't) avoid Nissan at all costs!

Could someone please tell me the best way to use iOS podcasts with the Juke?
I'm awaiting an n-tec.
I know you can use an iTunes library through the dash, right? And that literally connecting the phone offers you some more control than just doing so over Bluetooth?
The iPhone now has a separate Podcasts app.
Can Nissan Connect see that stuff? Or only the content of the Music app (ie the iTunes library?)
How would I use my podcasts? Just by basic Bluetooth, or can I scroll the menus podcasts on my Connect?

Just ordered Nismo juke today :) trying to work out what mats it will come with ..
I was expecting ones that just said Juke on them .. But just spotted on nismo brochure that it should come with 'branded velour mats '
Come someone please let me know what mats I should be expecting to turn up on my nismo juke ... A photo would be awesome :)

Hello All,
I put pen to paper just before chirstmas for a brand new Juke N-TEC. I went for the 1.5 DCI model... Delivery date is currently set for Feb 24th but I have agreed with the dealership to not pick it up until the 1st of March so I can have a 14 plate.
I have gone for Force red in metalic and no other accessories... I may look at some of the other packs further down the line... Does anyone know of the best place to obtain the accessories packs?
