bonnet catch

Hi people.

i have just recently got a juke and was wondering if this is a problem or its just how the jukes are built.

when my bonnet is shut and i put my fingers under the edge at the front and lift it doenst feel like it is securly shut it will move up and down by about half an inch, but no matter how hard i shut it and from whatever height it locks but just feels flimsey.

Hi,am collecting my 13 plate Acenta (premium pack) tomorrow and can't wait. Have had a few Nissans over the years,and can really see me loving the Juke. Looks a good forum here,and hope to contribute to it alot in the future.

Dci tekna start/stop

Hi all new on here but can anyone answer me a question,my 1.5dci tekna 11/13 model should have start stop but it seems to have a mind of its own. I've spoken to my dealer and they have said the car must be at operating temperature and the battery fully charged,
My issue is I use the car every day and the car is up to temp but it hardly ever works
Any ideas ???

Beeping sound at start up??

Hi people, long time since I have been here, so Happy New Year to all!!

Question please: recently upon starting the car, putting on seat belt, then drawing away, there is a beep, then a pause for about 5 seconds, then another beep until about 5 or 6 beeps have taken place, then silence.

Everything appears to be in order, so I wondered if anybody had experienced this and if so, could they please advise what may be happening??

Hey all it's been a long while...... Just want to say the juke has defo been one of the best cars I've had. 1.6 acenta premium pack, in white, rear spoiler and front and rear styling plates.
It is without a doubt , the most comfiest, smoothest wee car I've had, been fab, ( agreed with those who said it needed a sixth gear ). This site at the time was brilliant for me. Lots of amazing advice from people in the know, so for those of you buying one, I'd be surprised if u didn't love it :)
So WHY then after two yrs am I getting rid.
Call me shallow but four neighbours have bought one in my street alone, that's not to mention the other white ones I pass in my area on a daily basis and slightly further afield. Can't say I blame them as it's a fab car but for some reason the fact that in my area ( although not necessarily everywhere) they are so common has made me bow out. Thank you everyone x
Going for a car that I've always wanted , a mini countryman, spec is crap compared to the juke but hey ho , a change will be good :)

Hello 😄 I currently drive a R56 Cooper S, it's just over 5 yrs old and it hasn't been without its issues, cold start rattle, coke build up to name but a couple of issues. Other than that it's fab car to drive and I'm looking for something with the same oomph. Are there any common known issues with the Nismo? I'd be looking at the petrol version. Thankyou for any input 😄

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I collected my first ever Nissan, Juke N-Tec 1.5dci.

It's brilliant so far! I've done 150 miles last night with it, it's really comfortable, a bit jumpy though, fast enough and mpg just short of 60. Very happy so far :)

mudflaps /mudguards

iam thinking of fitting mudflaps to me juke but there seem to be two different types MUDGUARDS and MUDFLAPS can anybody tell me the difference, and which will be best.

After owning and loving my Nissan Juke Tekna 1.5d for nearly two years I have this morning discovered it does have voice control dialling for my phone despite there being no mention of it in the handbook.

The call button on the steering wheel if I press and hold it the the voice activation appears and I simply ask it to call whoever. Great find after two years of fiddling about on the touch screen to make calls!!

Brand new Juke Nismo Problems

Just bought one of these in Black, Still waiting to take delivery. I have not even driven it off the garage forecourt yet.
I am not going to Name and shame them just yet, lets see if they sort out the problems first.
Went to pick it up on Monday of this week. However at first look, the rear bumper was marked.
So its had to have a new rear bumper fitted, due to these marks on the original one.
I then went back on Wednesday to collect it, we then noticed that the bonnet was miss aligned. also where the front near side wing meets the front bumper and headlight, this was standing proud by 5/7 mm.
Apparently this is a very common fault! as 8 out of 10 of these Jukes have this problem!
They asked me for a couple of days to sort the problems out, so i let them try and sort this out.
Got a phone call this morning, everything is sorted its 100% "Great i am on my way to pick it up".
Got there and both sides of the bonnet are marked, and were the front wing was proud, this looks like its been bashed down with a hammer!! as this area is now damaged and looks a complete mess!
I told them i am rejecting the car due to all these problems, and there inadequate repairs.
What a complete waste of my time and effort.
Does anyone have a contact name and address/ email address for Nissan UK, As i really think a build quality complaint needs to be sent to them!:mad::mad:
